In additon there is a swimming pool built into Escarpment edge with Rock waterfall.Muchenjes fortay is their unique game experiences, the most diverse offered in Chobe; game drives depart early or late morning, afternoon and full day complete with hampers for those who want to spend all day in the bush. Game viewing by boat on the Chobe river is stunning and walking safaris explore the intricacies of the bush. Night drives go out every night after dinner and culture visits to traditional homes at a nearby village offer a glimpse of the local culture. Muchenje has the best views of any Chobe Lodge and we love the fact that it is a privately owned lodge that is located away from the crowds that Chobe National Park has become unfortunately so famous for! The lodge has got a great unpretentious safari atmosphere and costs nothing compared with the other good lodges elsewhere in the Chobe. Another bonus is that along with all the other activities, (boating, game drives etc) you can also walk and do night drives.
