Baines Camp

This exclusive lodge, named after the intrepid 19th century explorer and artist Thomas Baines, is located close to the Boro River in the Okavango Delta. The small and intimate camp, scheduled to open in the middle of the year, blends seamlessly into the surrounding environment and features five luxurious suites on elevated platforms.

Wooden decks have expansive views of both the river and the lagoon and both teem with life. The roomy suites feature four-poster beds and softly draped fabric, recalling a long-forgotten, more romantic era. The beds are mobile and afford guests the novel option of sleeping contentedly under the stars. And custom hammocks will be the perfect lure for guests looking to while away those sunny African afternoons. The main guest area features a large deck for outdoor dining and a swimming pool with views of the lagoon.
