Duma Tau This is located under the shady covering of a forest of large mangosteen trees close to the source of the Savute Channel. It overlooks a large hippo filled lagoon and offers some of the most diverse wildlife viewing in Botswana.
With easy access to the waterways, adventurous guides taking clients on walks and spectacular night drives a common occurence this is the camp to explore the full range of safari that the Linyanti region offers. The 9 luxurious safari tents have thatched roofs and are all raised on wooden platforms connected by walkways to the remainder oif the camp. They provide spacious seclusion from other guests with verandas looking over the lagoon infront and ensuite bathrooms and outdoor showers for those wanting to be closer to the baboons that keenly watch your every move. The lounge and bar area offer spectacular views over the lagoon and onto the plains beyond with a dramatic boma area set in the bush for pre dinner drinks around the fire. Game drives or walking safaris during the day or night are highly recomended but book in advance and Duma Tau can offer a sleep out in one of their extraordinary hides that really lets guests expereince the wild side of this fantastic concession.
